Cabinet - Stromberg-Carlson 1400H item #1321
Sharp deco cabinet for a Stromberg Carlson Model 1400H. The bakelite case was hand polished and also sprayed with Glayzit. It has no cracks or chips. Picture from the back shows interior with some dirt still needing to be cleaned. If you have the chassis or need an unbroken original cabinet this is for you. I also have a chassis that will fit this cabinet - see item #1322.

$25.00      condition: excellent

Stromberg-Carlson 1101-H item #1318
Interesting Stromberg Carlson Model 1101-H radio. I am pretty sure the wood cabinet has been refinished. The grain of the wood is very striking making it a great radio to display. However, I don't think the top was sanded down as well as it could have been as you can feel the grain and there is one area on the top left front that is slightly indented (look carefully at the first picture and you can see it) probably due to a missing sliver of veneer. Depending on your personal preference you can either leave it alone or sand down the top, fill in the area that is indented, and refinish. I changed the power cord and some of the paper caps that were leaky but the radio was working so well I left the original electrolytics (I tested them on a cap tester and there is no leakage). The knobs, dial and full labels on bottom are all original and in good shape. A very nice looking radio.

$45.00      condition: good

Zenith Cobramatic Turntable item #1308
Zenith Cobramatic turntable with the famous Cobra tone arm. Appears to be complete with the stereo cartridge. Mechanism looks good but sold untested. Should be very nice after a good cleaning.

Cabinet - Philco 16B item #1295
Here is a rare opportunity to buy a Philco Model 16B cathedral cabinet in excellent condition. I believe this was the largest cathedral radio made. The front is all original including the grille cloth. The sides were professionally restored (stained and lacquered) by an antique furniture repair shop. Labels intact on the inside. If you have a chassis and speaker your in business. If I find one before it's sold I will keep it..

$250.00      condition: excellent

Chassis - Stromberg Carlson 1100 item #1289

Selling parts from a Philco Model 37-610 chassis. Dial, electrolytics, volume control, tone control, tuning vernier, bias resistor, 6F6 output tube all sold. Please enquire about remaining parts or buy chassis as pictured for $25. Power transformer alone worth it for the price.

Lafayette KT320 Communications Receiver item #1270
Very nice vintage Lafayette Communications Receiver. The KT320 was a kit version of the HE-30 made by Trio of Japan for Lafayette and was a popular and decent performing receiver introduced in 1961. Transformer operated and single conversion. Covers 550 KC to 30 MC in 4 bands. The bandspread is marked for 80 to 10 meter ham bands. AC power is switchable between 117 volts and 100 volts. Nine tubes including rectifier. Has one RF amplifier stage and two IF stages. A review can be found in QST magazine, November 1961. This one is in very good original condition (the case could use some cleaning). It is working but I would do some routine maintenance on the electronics. It is a heavy set so expect packing/shipping to be $25-30. I will include a copy of the operating manual complete with schematics. Requires external speaker.
