Crosley F5CE item #1025
Here is an unusal Crosley radio. It is Model F5CE from 1954 aka the "Graduate". The chartreuse painted bakelite case is in very good condition (no cracks or chips) but there is some slight fading of the color on the top in one area (look at first picture) and a few tiny nicks in the paint. The electronics were updated with new electrolytics and the radio is playing fine. Everything looks oriignal on the radio including the knobs, back and label on the bottom. A nice set to add to your collection.

RCA 75-X-16 item #1016
Very nicely styled RCA Model 75-X-16 radio. Bakelite cabinet has the appearance of faux wood on the sides, top and back. Can be shined up with a little polish. There is a small piece of bakelite missing from the bottom back of the radio and cannot be seen unless you look from the back (look at second picture) Dial face has some haze which you may be able to make better with a little Novus polish. Brass bezel around front of radio and in center of dial can be polished up with any metal polish to a bright shine. Radio is in working condition and picks up stations but I would suggest that it be serviced if you plan on listening to it for prolonged periods. Everything appears original on the radio including complete labels on the bottom.

Garod 6AU1 Catalin "Commander" item #1011
This is a Garod #6AU1 "Commander" Butterscotch Catalin tube radio from 1945. Excellent condition with no major cracks, chips, nicks, dings, major scratches, or repairs,. The cabinet has been professionally hand polished with Novus #2. Everything appears factory original with the exception of the GAROD decal on the bottom which was replaced, The chassis was electronically restored and playing well all across the dial, but most owners of catalin radios do not play their radios to prevent even the remotest possiblility of tube burns to the cabinet. All screws holding the chassis to the cabinet and trim pieces to the cabinet have been just "barely" tightened to prevent any damage from occurring in the future if the radio was subject to excessive heat or cold. Even the spring was removed from the inside of the cabinet so the handle would not exert any force on the cabinet (it is highy recommended that catalin radios not be picked up by their handles). If you are looking for a handsome addition to your collection, please consider this beauty. The price is listed as $2000 but I will consider offers.

RCA 6EY3A item #1006
RCA Model 6EY3A portable 45 RPM phonograph. Case is covered in two tone brown vinyl and in decent shape with some scuff/use marks across top. Case could use a good cleaning. It is also missing small emblem on top front. Unit powered up with loud hum so electrolytics need to be replaced. Changer works and cycles but there is a thumping noise so the drive wheel needs to be sanded down to get rid of the identation that is causing the thumping noice or replaced. Also assume crystal cartridge needs replacing. This record player is featured in Phil Vourtsis' book on "The Fabulous Victrola 45" (page 67) with a collectors value of $150-200 (if you can believe that). My price is $25.

Crosley F25 Clock Radio item #1000
Crosley Model F25 clock radio that looks like a small TV. Factory painted blue bakelite case is in very good condition with no major damage, just needs some cleaning and polishing. The problem is that the clear pastic on the front has areas that are damaged as you can see in the photo (the actual blue clock face is undamaged). Since the entire brass bezel snaps off in the front including the plastic insert, if you can find a similar radio with a damaged cabinet but a good front, it is easily interchanged and your in business. The good news is that the radio plays perfectly picking up stations across the entire dial range. Even the clock works. Original knobs on side in good condition but small clock knobs missing. This is a great restoration project for the money.

Packard Bell 5FP item #998
This is a fairly rare Packard Bell Model 5FP radio. The plaskon case has 2 cracks across the top that have been glued back together. The chassis is transformer operated and in working condition. It is also heavy compared to the light plaskon case and to prevent any more damage the springs have been removed from the handle to prevent you from picking it up that way. The dial is very interesting as it is "stationized". That means the radio has a unique dial for the area of the country where it was sold. This one says California and Northwest on the top and bottom of the dial with the respective call signs of all the local stations. Even with the damage this is a nice radio to display.
