Emerson 581A item #1070
Nice looking Emerson Model 581A. Plaskon case has one hairline across top that should bleach out so it will be hardly noticeable. Rest of case just dirty and needs a good cleaning. Radio powered up and I was able to receive stations but still could use a good going over. Knobs not original but everything else is, and in good shape (dial plastic, dial indicator, handle and back).

Philco 48-225 item #1069
Nice looking Philco 49-225 radio from 1948. The plastic case has 2 small melt marks on one side and another one on the other side. The top has a piece of scotch tape but not cracked. The radio powered up but all I got was a low humj so it will need some repair work. The radio looks original with the correct knobs, brass grille, dial plastic, tuning indicator and back (in 3 pieces). This is a sharp radio when restored and correct parts are hard to find.

Emerson 20A Cabinet item #1068
This is a very early Emerson Model 20A bakelite cabinet from 1933. The cabinet had two cracks on top but they were epoxied from the inside of the cabinet. In my opinion this was as good a job as you can do because the epoxy was reinforced with screen netting and the cracks glued so tightly together that you can hardly feel them. However you can still see them on the top of the case but they look like hairlines. If you have a busted up cabinet or just a chassis then this is for you. The rest of the case has great detailing and is in nice condition.

Emerson CJ item #1067
Very small Emerson Model CJ from 1938. Wood case has one area where veneer has started to crack (see first picture upper right) and the right side has split down the center. It is tight and can be easily clamped together and glued. The cord is cut so radio untested but looks complete. Original bullet knobs. Dial plastic undamaged. Dial itself looks good. Very nice radio for restoration

Sylvania 543M item #1066
Sylvania Model 543M clock radio. Plastic case needs cleaning but no cracks. Clock works, radio hums. Brass trim needs polishing. Radio appears original including knobs (one has lost the brass covering), back and label on bottom.

$20.00      condition: fair

Silvertone 9006 item #1065
Silvertone Model 9006 radio. Bakelite case is free of cracks but dirty and needs cleaning. Some age related marks/scratches in the paint. Radio powered up and played fine. The plastic dial which is broken on almost all of these radios (because people pick them up in the middle and that's the weakest point of the plastic dial) is perfect. Radio appears original includling knobs and label on bottom (on this model chassis pulls out from bottom). This one is definately worth restoring.

$35.00      condition: fair

Zenith B508R item #1064
Compact Zenith Model B508R. Red plastic case is free of cracks but needs a cleaning. There are a few small age related marks on top. These can be buffed out. Radio powered up but hummed so electrolytics need to be replaced. Radio appears original including knobs, back, and label on bottom.

$20.00      condition: good

Clarion 11801 item #1062
Clarion Model 11801. Unusual small radio. Bakelite case is dirty and needs cleaning/polishing. Small crack and piece missing from bottom rear right. radio did not powere up so needs some repair. Original knobs and back with tube layout.

$20.00      condition: fair

Tele-Tone 138 item #1056
Nice Tele-Tone Model 138 radio. The bakelite case has no cracks or chips but the factory painted finish is starting to wear thin on top. Case could use a little more cleaning and polishing and I think it then will be very acceptable. I powered up the radio and it worked fine and with 6 tubes it really pulls in those stations. Original inset grille and knobs look good.

$35.00      condition: good

Zenith Bakelite Cabinet item #1054
