Zenith J615 item #1478
One of the most stylish of the Zenith table radios. This is a Model J615. The bakelite case shines and is free of cracks or chips. The brass front is very nice. The chassis was serviced and the radio is playing great. Wait till you hear the tone quality as it has a larger speaker then you normally find in table radios. Original knobs, back, handle, and label on bottom complete this beauty. Even has an RCA jack to play your favorite external music source like a record player and with a special cable that I can supply you can also plug in your IPOD, MP3 player etc and they will sound just fine too.

$100.00      condition: excellent

Emerson 547A item #1477
Nice compact Emerson Model 547A. Black bakelite case was hand polished and is free of cracks or chips. Chassis was serviced, new vintage power cord, electrolytics and other paper caps replaced, receiver aligned, and it is playing its heart out. Original knobs and back in great shape.

Bendix 0526A item #1476
Beautiful looking Bendix Model 0526A radio. The bakelite case has been hand polished and is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The chassis was serviced, electrolytic and other paper caps replaced, receiver aligned, and is playing as good as it looks. Original knobs, bakelite plug, and full label on bottom. The dial plastic is in perfect condition. In this model the chassis pulls out from the bottom.

Stewart Warner Campus item #1474
Stewart Warner Campus radio Model 07- 553 from 1939. Bakelite case has two cracks - one repaired on the right top side, and another on bottom left (tight). Chassis looks original but untested as cord is cut. This is a very collectible radio and can be restored to look very good despite the cracks. Original knobs and back.

Chassis - Philco 630B item #1473
Chassis from a Philco Model 630B tombstone. Rough condition. All tubes missing. Can electrolytics removed. Some wires cut on top and on bottom. Shadow meter intact. Power transformer does not look like it ever overheated so it may still be good. Dial not broken but lettering faded on right side. If you want parts just let me know.

Cabinet - Philco 630B Tombstone item #1472
I am selling the cabinet only from a Philco Model 630B tombstone radio. I have examined it over several days to be sure about its condition and I am still not 100% certain. At first glance I was sure it was refinished but the way in which is was done was to nice to have been done by an amateur. Now after looking it over it was either done by a professional using a 1930's hand rubbed refinishing technique, or its an original finish. The escutcheon and grill cloth are in excellent condition and I am not even sure they were ever removed. I am not guaranteeing that this is original but just making a judgement based upon my examination. In any case if I find a chassis for this radio I will immediately remove it from my For Sale list and keep it myself. I have priced it assuming its been refinished otherwise it would be $700+ for an original example of this beautiful radio. The radio actually came with the correct chassis but it is in rough shape and wires have been cut. It is for sale separately but the cabinet is the big selling feature here. The pictures do not come close to revealing its beauty.

Philco 53-706 Radio/Clock/Lamp item #1471
Philco Model 53-706 tube radio, clock and lamp. Excellent original condition throughtout. Chassis serviced with new capacitors and playing fine. Lamp and clock work fine. I don't often find these in this condition. May have to ship in two boxes to protect the shade.

Weller Soldering Gun Kit item #1470

Nordmende Sterling HiFi Elektra item #1469
Larger West German table radio by Nordmende Model Sterling Hifi-Elektra. Export model so works off 115VAC. Wood case and veneer solid but finish is worn off. Good candidate for refinishing. 6 tube chassis (ECC85 ECH81 EF89 EABC80 EM84 EL84I) I was able to get it to power up (had to wiggle the connection where the plug goes into the chassis as the 2 power pins need cleaning and the push buttons need degreasing so they hold down better) but surprised to get reception on all bands (broadcast + 2 short wave plus FM). Volume was low and somewhat distorted so it will need a good electrical restoration. These radios have amazing sound when working properly (2 speaker design). There is also an indicator tube that shins through in the front when stations are properly tuned. As far as I can tell this set is all original (knobs, pushbuttons, back, cord, tubes etc) and has not been touched, just stored for a long time. There is dirt on the front but it wipes right off. Dial is in good condition. I can only see a few tiny hairlines in the large ivory plastic escutcheon but no major damage. Grille cloth is decent too. A lot of radio for the money.

EMUD Record 176 item #1468
Nice EMUD Model Record 176 from West Germany. Bakelite case needs cleaning/polishing but no damage. I tried the radio but did not get anything so I took out the chassis (really easy - two screws and the while thing pulls out with knobs and dial face all attached). I found that the filament transformer was open so I jumped in 6.3 volts for the tubes and pilot lamps and the radio played fine. Changing this transformer is not hard and much easier (and cheaper) then a power transformer. Everything looks original including the tubes, knobs, pushbuttons (all work fine), and back (there is a hang tag all in German). This radio also features a phono input. Can't go wrong for a quality German radio for the price.
