Arvin 59 (1959)

This radio has escaped me until now. I finally found one at a local auction and worth the wait. If you like art deco you have to like this design. Plays as great as it looks. The color is called green olive.

Dalhberg 4130-D1 (1955)

This was a super find and I just finished the restoration. It is a Dahlberg Pillow Speaker Model 4130-D1. It mounts on the headboard of a motel bed and the dial appears upside down but when your lying in bed and looking up the dial is correct. This was all original right down to the coin operated mechanism. In fact I had to keep putting dimes in the radio to keep it on radio while I did the repairs. In excellent condition. Even has the usually lost pillow speaker itself (sounds surprisingly good for a small speaker). Boy if this radio could talk (no pun intended) imagine the stories it could tell.

Emerson 543 (1947)

Another Emerson 543. This one is in brown bakelite with nice contrasting red knobs and dial.

Emerson 543 (1947)

All orginal Emerson Model 543 in black bakelite with contrasting gold metal grille. Nice color combination in a well designed compact radio. Sounds great too.

Emerson 642 (1950)

Another Emerson. This one is a 642 from 1950.

Emerson DW-330B

Extremely sharp looking Emerson Model DW330B radio. Got this at auction this weekend at the home of the original owner. Very well preserved and untouched for many many years. After replacement of the standard chassis parts it sounds as great as it looks.

General Electric 114W (1946)

A gorgeous GE 114. The plaskon cabinet features very nice swirling and the radio is in mint condition.

Northern Electric 5000

Just acquired my second "Baby Champ" or "Rainbow" radio made by Northern Electric. This one is in brown bakelite. Only one more to go to complete the series (green)

Philco PT30 (1941)

One of Philco's nicer cabinet designs in their Transitone radio series. Looks and plays great.

RCA 56X2 (1946)

Had one in brown plastic and could not resist adding another one in ivory. These radios look and sound great.
