GLAYZIT Bakelite cleaner and polish
item #238
New packaging, same product. This is the most amazing product I have used on my bakelite radios. Once you have cleaned the case simply spray on GLAYZIT and wipe off. It restores the original luster and color leaving a hard gloss dust resistant finish (if you leave it on for 24 hrs the shine is unbelievable). I have tried everything and this stuff is amazing. Works on plastic too. Sells elsewhere for up to $16 + shipping. Even great on wood radio cabinets also! Shipping to US and Canada $4.00 for one can, $6.00 for 2 cans.
PLEASE NOTE. I have been holding the price of Glayzit the same for many years despite several increases from the supplier. Unfortunatley the time is approaching when I must pass this increase along to my customers. I have just ordered the last of several cases of Glayzit that I will hold the price to $10.99. Reluctantly after these are gone, a new price willl take effect. Please order soon so I can continue to honor the old price. Thanks!

Zenith G724
item #760
Great condition Zenith Model G724. Case just needs cleaning and polishing. That label on the top will come off - it is the original sticker that Zenith put on these radios. Case has no cracks or chips. Cord was cut so radio is untested. This will be a nice AM/FM radio after restoration.

Zenith 4G903
item #759
Very interesting Zenith Model 4G903 radio from 1949. This is an AC or battery powered radio. The front flips up revealing the knobs and tuning dial (in great condition) and that is also the on/off switch. The case is in decent shape but there is a hairline crack on the front flip up piece, two small nicks on the case, and some scratches on the back. The inside looks clean and all tubes are present. I powered up the radio but got hum so the electrolytics need to be changed. Handle in great shape. Nice radio for restoration.

Zenith 6D510
item #756
Nice looking compact Zenith Model 6D510 radio from 1941. Bakelite case in good shiny condition with only a few minor scratches but there is a hairline crack acoss the top. It is tight and you cannot feel it and barely see it, but it is there. I epoxied the crack on the inside of the cabinet and it should not be a problem. Other then that the radio looks very nice. The chassis was serviced and plays great. Everything is original including the Zenith knobs and handle. Radio stamped on bottom with model number.

Air King 4602
item #748
This is an Air King Model 4602 radio from the early 40's. The wood case is solid with no missing parts (those original grill bars always fall out and are missing except on this case) and the original finish is decent except on top where it could use some lacquer refinishing. I took out the chassis and it had all original parts. I replaced the bad electrolytics and some other caps, some weak tubes, realigned and it is now playing great with plenty of volume and stations up and down the dial (6 tube chassis really pulls in those stations). Wood knobs in good shape. Dial in excellent shape. Original sticker still on bottom with tube layout. Very nice radio to listen to and display..

RCA 3 X 534
item #745
Small compact RCA radio. Case is shiny with some fine surface scratches and small hairline crack on top. Radio is working with background hum so original electrolytics should be changed soon. Label intact on bottom. Some tarnish on brass insert on tuning knob. Good utility radio for that garage or workspace.

Zenith Y723
item #742
Very sharp looking Zenith Model Y723. All original inside and out. Case is in excellent condition just needs a little cleaning and polishing. Radio works on FM with some background static, but mostly static on AM. Probably IF transfomers need replacing as the internal mica caps are shorting causing the problem. This will be a great radio once repaired. Cosmetically this radio is in excellent condition but because it needs some electrical restoration it is being graded overall as very good.

GE C-440A Clock Radio
item #741
This is an exceptionally clean and original GE Model C-440A clock radio. The case has hardly any wear with just a tiny knick on the left bottom and it shines like new. The color combination of blue and silver is very striking against the cream colored case. Best of all the clock and radio work fine. There is an additional AC outlet on the back of the radio and a place to plug in a record player using an RCA type phono jack. You won't find a better condition clock radio radio then this one. Sonora WCU 246
item #739
I believe this is called a "Bed Radio" by Sonora. It is designed to hang on a bed headboard. It has a light that turns on and off with the switch on the front (lens for light is missing), and a radio with the controls on either side. The lamp and radio are working but could probably benefit from some additional electrical repair especially to change the line cord which is crumbling. The case on the radio was cracked and repaired at some time, but the repair is not the greatest. Could use some additional repair and repainting. However, with some cleaning and polishing it will still look decent the way it is and is a very collectible radio.
